Lt. Col. Rodrigo Duton’s career with the Rio de Janeiro State Police (Gendarmerie type) began in early 1998. Throughout his extensive career, he primarily served in special operations units. Initially, he was trained in handling specialised equipment within the PMERJ Air Support Unit. Subsequently, he became a police helicopter pilot.
