Angela Suriyasenee
Researcher – Cyber, Technology and Security
Angie is a Researcher with ASPI’s Cyber, Technology, and Security Program. She is passionate about capacity-building across the Indo-Pacific, as well as strengthening strategic partnerships and diplomatic ties to bolster regional security.
In her current role, she supports research on spyware proliferation and misuse, as well as the coordination of ASPI’s Women in Defence and Security Network (WDSN) by organising events and opportunities for women in the national security field to build connections, enhance their skills, and access mentoring. Her research interests encompass critical and emerging technologies, non-traditional security issues, ASEAN-Australian relations, and promoting diversity and intersectionality within the international security space.
Angela holds a Master of International Security with a focus on Strategic Partnerships, along with a double Bachelor’s degree in arts (International Development) and International Relations from the University of Adelaide.
